Why a Blog?
Ever since they blew the whistle on the big CBS News debacle regarding President Bush's alleged National Guard misadventures, bloggers have achieved a certain sense of identity, notoriety and even respect in the national consciousness. Blogs have become the newsroom for many. They are great forums for the exchange of information and ideas. They have even become something of a community where friends can "get together" in our increasingly insular society. Blogs are also a great way to disseminate information quickly. So why use a blog for real estate? Well, for all of the reasons that I have listed above! By using a blog to share information about real estate, I can easily publish information about my team's listings. I can share relevant news that is pertinent to real estate in my region. I can share valuable information that will benefit anyone seeking to purchase or sell real estate - no matter where they are. I can be contacted and answer questions much more efficiently via the blog than I could with a traditional web site. Plus, being a former English major, blogging about real estate will give me an opportunity to write! In the future you can expect to find real estate listings on this blog - lots and lots of real estate listings! There will be a photograph each of the properties being showcased on this blog. I will provide a street address so that you can drive by properties that interest you and check out the neighborhoods where they reside. I will also include pricing information so that you will know how much the house costs. There will be general information about these properties such as: age of the structure, number and size of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, garages, fireplaces, approximate lot size, and approximate square footage. I'll also provide a link to a website where you can get additional information and photographs for each listing. On days when there are no new listings to share with you, I'll have articles about the process of buying and selling real estate. I will provide information about reputable lenders, attorneys, home inspectors, insurance agents, pest inspectors and other service providers that will be of use to you if you are purchasing property in Rowan County. Important local news relating to real estate will be provided on this blog as well. There will also be links to all three of the Multiple Listing Services (MLS) that my team belongs to. These three services will give you access to information about properties throughout the Piedmont of North Carolina! Finally, there will be information about interesting things to do and see in both Rowan and Cabarrus Counties. If you find this blog helpful to you, please make my day by commenting on the helpful article. If you see a property here or on the MLS that you would like to tour please let me know via comment as well. I am excited about this new way to serve you!
